Ayurveda Resort Mandira

This place is incredible. They really understand what they are doing and there is. Lot of thought and planning that goes on behind the scenes to fulfil an excellent service experience. I’m also impressed at how many options they provide. There is something for everyone. The setting is beautiful and the facilities are great quality and well maintained.

Let me start off by saying : Perfection. I went to the Mandira Resort solo, being the first time I do a wellness week alone I felt a bit nervous but once I stepped foot into the hotel, all my nervousness disappeared. The welcome I got was so warm, and they were ready to answer all my questions without any hesitation. My room was beautiful with a little balcony, couch, TV, bathtub, separate toilet, big big big bed, kettle, mugs, 2 little hot water bottles, a wellness bag, slippers, bathrobe, shower gel, shampoo, body cream, conditioner, 2 little energy balls as a sweet welcome treat and some amazing teas! Needless to say, I was very impressed and felt so cozy in my room. The coziness of the room did not stop me from wanting to spend as much time as possible in the nice warm pool (Indoor and outdoor) or sitting on a lounge chair reading my book. Additionally, the sauna area is stunning. There is also a nudist area, which is perfect for anybody who likes this. If you want to lie on a lounge chair in complete silence then you have that possibility because they even offer a quiet room. I had multiple treatments (massages & Ayurveda consultation) included in my package but decided I wanted to book some more, which was such an easy process thanks to the SPA Reception who were also very welcoming and helpful. The treatments I got were just absolute perfection - I left every treatment feeling calm & grounded yet refreshed and ready to go to the steam room (In the sauna department). A big thank you to Birgit & Jörgen who made me feel very comfortable during my massages and facial treatments! One can really feel that they are passionate about their job and aim to give you the absolute best treatment and are also great at giving tips in case you have any questions. Being a big foodie, I am always a bit wary when eating in restaurants... But Mandira completely outdid themselves when it comes to the service & quality of food they have to offer. I looked forward to every meal - The chef is an absolute artist, I cannot compliment her/him enough! Breakfast is a buffet with fresh juices, fresh breads, different kinds of jams, honey, meat, smoked salmon, cheese, fruit, vegetables... And you can order a warm dish! Lunch is light with a choice between 3 small dishes, a salad bar, bread and spreads. Again, perfection. Dinner is a 4 course meal with an entree, soup, salad, main dish (always a choice between Ayurveda, Fish or Meat), dessert and then fresh bread with an incredible choice of cheese. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the restaurant staff for your kindness and finding a solution when there was a meal I couldn't eat and a big thank you to the chef! Thank you for this incredible experience and for making me ease into the new year with less stress and a lovely memory! I wish I could give a personal compliment to every employee I got to interact with, but then this review would probably be about 10 pages long... I cannot wait to come back :-)

Mandira Ayurveda hotel is a wonderful experience. You can notice that they have a purpose and everybody and everything is aligned towards the purpose, which is to take care of you and your health and make you have a great experience. The whole staff is highly engaged and professional and you notice how motivated they are. Special mention to Christine (receptionist), Stefan (Spa) and Hannes (restaurant/bar) although not very fair to just mention them because I should include the whole staff in the list, including the owners/management of the hotel who are the soul of the business. The Ayurveda treatments are excellent, the installations are renewed (not everything) and are top quality and they have a very good look and feel, the food is amazing (I never thought I could eat and drink and enjoy so much from so many vegetables and fruits). All-in-all, it is a fantastic experience. In fact, I’ve discovered that every year I want to give my wife and me the present of a week’s Ayurveda treatment, either in Mandira hotel (I will definitely repeat!) or in other places of the world. Congratulations to the Mandira Ayurveda hotel team, particularly to the management. They are doing an excellent job.

An all round amazing resort for quality relaxation. I’m a returning visitor, and recommend this place to all my friends. The food is excellent. The staff is very kind and helpful. The pools relatively small but lovely, the saunas are a joy. The spacious room I always book comes with nice furniture and a massaging bathtub. The separated toilet and the walk-in closet are perfect. AC is the only thing missing but can be arranged. Gym is basic but not an issue. The unique wonders these cooks are orchestrating is pure magic. The five-six course dinners are culinary dreams coming true. I can’t emphasize enough the perfection the kitchen produces every single night. The free covered parking is always appreciated. The Resort is perfectly placed: a mere 40 minute drive to Graz, or 60 minutes to Vienna.

Very lovely there! The receptionists were super friendly and the rest of the hotel staff too. And they really took the time to explain where you could find what in the hotel.I also got a nice welcome drink. The room was nice, cozy and the bed was not too hard but not too soft. So just right. Also an amazing view from the balcony👌👌 The food was delicious and they have a great spa and fitness. I really look forward to going back there!
